Most of you know that I am (among many other professions and trainings) an Enrolled Agent.  That means that I have passed muster with the IRS (after a multi-day exam and copious CEU’s to stay current) to handle taxes and finances for any entity subject to the IRS rules and regulations.    As such, I interface with the various offices of the IRS at least once a week – and often more than once a day.

Parks and Recreation

I have written many times about pricing and how difficult it is to really determine the “best price”. As a matter of fact, that new firm I told you about is dealing with that issue right now. If we price our product too high, sales are cut- and while the margins can be fantastic, we don’t sell enough to be profitable. If we price the product too low, we need to sell millions to make enough money. (Besides the fact that one would be leaving significant funds “on the table”.)

We’ve gotten it…The Tora!

We’ve been counting since the Pesach (Passover) Seder.   50 days after we were freed from Egypt (Mitzrayim- a place of narrow straits), we were waiting by Mount Sinai to receive the Tora.   Sorry, folks, this was more likely NOT in the “Sinai Peninsula”, but found in Saudi Arabia, near an active volcano. As I wrote yesterday, we saw AND heard the words of the Supreme Being (you can get the idea by studying this rocket plant explosion in Henderson, Nevada).
