I read lots of magazines. One of them is Fortune. Because I want to know more about business. Yes, I know its point of view differs from mine. But, I still read it. And, the newest editorial blew me away. Because it was so glib and so wrong.

Up here!
I admit it. I’ve chosen the wrong one. Not just to marry- but, even to date.
And, I am sure- if you are still single- you are hoping to find the right one with whom to spend the rest of your life. And, being the techie that I am, I wonder why there is no formula to determine who that might be…
L’shanna Tova, y’all
29 Days and still counting
It’s the next to last day of Elul. As I wrote on the first day, when the period of self-assessment begins, we are 30 days into the 40 day period of determining how we can make our lives- and the lives of others- better. (You can also search for Elul in the index to the left and see more of my thoughts on this “resolution-making” period.)
Brain Augmentation?
We all know that learning a language is much easier when we are younger. Learning two languages (one would be your native one) means it will be much easier to learn a third or even a fourth (regardless if they are or are not related to one another).
Health data coming your way
So, another one of those blessings that has come about from Obamacare (there are many that are easily demonstrated)- even though this is more a byproduct than a design- is that our medical lab results are now coming to us in a fashion that most of us can understand. (I do believe that is the longest sentence I have ever written!)
I knew it!
Most of you know that I live in metropolitan DC. Which means that bsides all the cameras the Feds have installed to spy on us, we have a plethora of traffic cameras.
Eat up- quickly!
I’ll bet you won’t be surprised when I say I send articles to my friends and family. But, you may be surprised to know I send them several times a day. Of course, I am positive it’s information they ABSOLUTELY have to know and have. Well, I did that again last week. But, this time I only sent it to my son, because I knew it could be very important to him.
An interesting day
Today (when this was written) was not my normal sort of day. After a late night celebration, I didn’t feel like (up to?) arising at my normal hour of 5 AM. And, I had no client obligations until 10 AM. So, I putzed around, proofread my blog before posting, went to St. Elmo’s for my coffee and friends (realizing that I left my coffee cup at a client’s facility yesterday, too), and prepared to relax and read my paper(s)….
They’re hiding everywhere!
I have railed against lobbyists forever. Even knowing that on at least one occasion, I might have been construed as one. The difference is that no one was paying me to do what I did. (I believed- no, I knew- we needed to have the US Government to pay the costs for dialysis for American citizens.)
