Whether you drink 4, 6, 8 or 12 glasses of water a day- we all know it’s critical to stay hydrated. And, despite the fact that i used to drink 20, 30, or 40 cups of coffee a day- that was not the way to hydrate one’s body. (I don’t drink that much coffee anymore- nor do I drink any pop.)

Milking You For All You Are Worth?
Look, I enjoy great food as much as the next guy (or gal). No, wait. I am pretty sure I enjoy great food more than most. Which is why I really don’t like going to restaurants- because the food is generally mediocre, mislabeled, and overpriced.
The only time I ever lag!
My mom’s dead. And, I’m single. So, there’s no celebration of Mother’s Day this weekend. (Pay attention kids- your mom’s alive. Don’t forget her.) And, I was somewhat confused last week, when the Phillies celebrated Mother’s Day. (That’s because there will be no Sunday home game this weekend. )
Trust this as far as you can p?
Back when I was involved with some 10 different research projects every week, I realized that one of the weakest points in my training was statistics. I needed those skills to discern if what we were doing was actually an improvement or not. As a techie, I was taught to believe (yes, that’s the verb) that statistical analysis would remove any bias I would bring to the analysis.
Mind your own beeswax!
For a while, I hated shopping at the kosher grocery store in Kemp Mill. Because you had to pay for each bag that you needed to take your groceries home.
Gimme a Do-Over!
The Tora- or the bible as you call it- doesn’t have a lot of do-overs. OK. Life doesn’t have a lot of do-overs, either.
Samsung Sucks
Full disclosure. I’ve been associated with Samsung in one way or another for a long time. However, that does not mean I won’t call them on the carpet for stupidity, carelessness, or poor customer service. Like this exact case.
A Star is Borne?
Many of my friends refuse to take daily medication. Mostly because they fear they won’t be compliant and remember to take the pills as required. They are not alone- about ½ of all those prescribed meds screw things up. (About 125K deaths a year could be avoided if those folks took their meds.)
2nd Best Ain’t Good Enough
From the second the first dialyzer was invented by Abel, Rowntree, and Turner 115 years ago, it should have been clear that dialysis- which cleans the blood of most of the toxins that accumulate when the subject has kidney failure, was, at best, incomplete.
Right from the air!
We know the next big series of wars is going to be over water. And, no, I’m not talking about how neighbors in California will be fighting over their water allocations (or even California fighting with Colorado). I’m talking about the vast portions of this Earth that are basically out of water.
