So, besides helping create medical, pharmaceutical, water treatment, among other products; serving as CFO or Managing Partner to a few law firms; financial advisor to small and medium businesses; non-profits, and unincorporated entities; I also am a consultant to two national tax providers.

Let’s assume we’re a solopreneur in Virginia or Arizona or Montana (or some other state).

And, we’ve picked up a great little contract from FlyHighBiotech in San Diego.  And, another from IoT4U in Sunnyvale.   (In case you don’t know, both of these cities are in California.)  And, neither entity is expecting us to show up at their offices to share our results- everything will be done via Microsoft Teams, Skype, Whiteboard, and eMail.

It would help if the IRS were a fully funded agency.  But, for the past four years or so, it has suffered because the GOP claims (FAKE NEWS) that WrongWing (non-)charities had a tough time getting approved as non-profit entities.  The GOP feels that these Political Action Committees (PAC) were chosen for special scrutiny. (FACT: All these fake charities that are really aimed at promoting political candidates from the Left, the Right, and the Middle were subject to the same extra scrutiny.)

We really needed tax reform.  Instead we got HR-1, absurdly labeled as the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, plus the Senate version of that same  bill,.  As I promised, they wouldn’t be passed as proposed (that would have been EVEN worse, they have been reconciled.   And , TheDonald has signed the final version, so it’s the law of the land.   PL 115-97.

Bachelors of ….

The education system in the US has not been keeping up.  To some degree, it’s why Kmart and Target feel they can demand college degrees to staff their stores.  Of course, it may also be related to the fact that many college grads can’t get the jobs they expected- so they are applying to Kmart and Target.

You did it!  You held on for the seven posts.  Today is the last one.  Where we will learn about the changes to how long extensions may be (some are shorter and some are longer than before).   Oh, and penalties- they’re going up. (Of course!)
