Sure, epigenetics (as a word) was coined some 400 years ago. But, it really wasn’t until the 1990s that we had a good handle on what it really is- and we’re still learning about what it really means.
It’s time. No excuses.
Here’s a contrarian view to what so many politicians want you to believe. We must provide a social safety net for the poor. We must find a way to educate parents – and to find a means to let them have enough time- in between their two and three shifts of (part-time work)- to spend “quality time” with their kids. We must fund early childhood education.
Pain Threshold?
I’ve written about my pain threshold before. Where I’ve obtained (now, there’s a verb choice) 3rd degree burns all over my arm and kept on working. Or, broken my leg and kept on going. Well, it turns out that we can train our genes to provide this benefit.
