Real Property Problems?
You’ve all heard folks ask this- Are you still happy with the folks for whom you voted? This year, it’s been terribly poignant, since so many folks fell for the bait and switch politicians. The ones who promised to do A and then promptly did B- or nothing at all.
Mortgaged to the hilt?

So, we know that if we are single and sell our primary residence, the first $ 250K of gains on that sale are deductible. Remember, those gains need to be properly determined.
Home grown?
Most of you know that I live in the DC Metropolitan area. And, while our schools have made major progress (of course, coming from rock bottom…), most of the schools are still “almost ready” for prime time.

I read many newspapers every day. I read tons of articles every day (ok- maybe only 100 pounds, but you get the idea). Many of them all describe how tough life is, how folks get stuck in patterns from their parents. If the father was an abuser, so will be the child. If the mother was cold, so will be the child. I think NOT! We all have a choice. It is not an easy one- but one we must make- and remake, every day.
