I know we have a President who lacks context. But, its pretty clear the rest of our elected officials are also oblivious.
When I was younger (yes, it’s true, I was younger once), I considered going to a elite school. The Bronx High School of Science. My guess is, had I gone there, I would have stayed in high school- but that is not the subject of today’s post.
Labor Day. I’m surprised it still exists. Given the political climate in this country- where labor is neutralized, vilified, denigrated, and blamed for the ills of the enterprise or government. Because one can do so- and it’s easier to blame someone else (and not take responsibility for one’s own failings).
Let me start out telling you that I am a born New Yorker. I walk fast, I talk fast, I think fast…in fact, I do everything very quickly- with one exception. ‘Nuff said. Back to the topic. I have been gone for some 4 decades. But, I still am a New Yorker at heart.
