Monday to Saturday, my morning routine is to read a slew of newspapers. Generally, I start with the Washington Post, followed by the Wall Street Journal, then the New York Times, and the LA Times. I add a paper or two (Long Beach Press Telegram, Ann Arbor News, Boston Globe to the roster- but I don’t read them from cover to cover.)

Read all about it
I try to get a balanced view of the news.
I read multiple newspapers every day- the Los Angeles Times, the Long Beach Press Telegram, the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, and the New York Times. (I probably should add the Christian Science Monitor to that list, but I only catch it a few times a week.) I used to read the Ann Arbor News, but it has dissipated into a weekly, so it’s a very occasional read for me.
All the News That’s Fit to Print?
Ever since I was a little kid, newspapers were part of my life.
I remember my father would bring home the New York Times and the New York Post from work, and we’d get Newsday delivered.
Oh, my G-d, it’s the NEWS!
You know I read a few newspapers and a slew of journals and magazines. And, I used to watch the network news. When I was younger, it was Eric Sevaried, Walter Cronkite, John Chancellor, Howard K. Smith. A while later it was Chuck Scarborough (who I first saw in Boston before he made New York screens).
All the news that’s fit to print?
Things have been changing. The Ann Arbor News is no longer a daily- but exists on the web. Newsweek has basically disappeared (but would probably still be on the newsstands- at least today- had Sid Harman not met his demise.) The Washington Post makes a profit- because it owns for-profit schools. Everywhere we turn, we hear that our news delivery is changing.
