So, this was supposed to be the second of contiguous posts. Instead, because of events transpiring (ok, transpired) in Virginia, this is the third in the miniseries. Friday, I ranted about Harry Byrd, the segregationist that molded Virginia opinions for nearly four decades. Yesterday, we debated whether Ralph Northam should resign because he thought it proper to either pose in Black face or as a KKK aficionado on his medical school yearbook page. Today, I’ll talk about the other side of the coin.
Yesterday, I spoke about the Gates/Buffett initiative. That philanthropic concept certainly makes a big splash. One the world recognizes.
This was supposed to be a great weekend. My son was getting a chance to bask in the rewards of those great experiences during his tenure at Michigan, which were made possible by his exploits at high school. But, my weekend was marred by revelations I received. And, the situation that ruined this weekend is not out of the ordinary- I believe this process obtains throughout most of this country. It is an absolute disaster. It must be stopped!
