So, yesterday, I described how we learned about trucking and logistics. That is exactly why we now know how to help our clients in these endeavors. Whether it’s a common carrier (conveys freight for other firms) or private carriage (only carries freight for their own business), we understand the factors, the hidden issues, and the need to manage “the lone wolf” (the long-distance trucker) effectively.

Keep on Trucking- 1
When we started our dialysis company, we knew we were going to battle against some of the largest companies in the world. And, we were – if we were lucky- awfully teeny. But, we knew we had the absolute best product (yes, we were shy and retiring back then, too)- and we did our homework and knew how the marketplace operated.
What we wish for…
So, yesterday, we spoke about the one (of the two) place driverless vehicles make a great deal of sense (and the only place where the practice prevails today). Today, instead of talking about agriculture (where these autonomous vehicles are widespread) or trucking (where they are making inroads), we are going to center our discussions about self-driving cars.
Driving Miss Daisy? (And, Tom, Bob, Lisa, too!)
You know if you are of a certain age, you can probably recall the pent-up emotion and elation you had on your 16th or 17th birthday. I’m talking about the transportation bill that finally passed both houses of Congress- and actually funds the program for more than a few weeks. Yes, indeed, we have a FIVE year transportation bill.
Big Rigs

(Professional advisors- who we do not employ- never answer that question directly, either. Instead, they offer you categories of charities that meet their specifications. You still have to choose!) How do you decide? Continue reading Tzedaka
Keep on Truckin? Nope, not any more…
Many of you know I used to own a trucking corporation. It was a captive- in other words, we used our authority (trucking registration) to haul our own products and raw materials. We operated up and down the East and West Coasts, and radiated out to and from the Midwest.
