Oxygen Therapy?

I wrote about Eliot Rosen and his work with oxygen for cancer therapy about a year ago. I thought at the time that his concept had great merit. Of course, cancer was not among my specialties, but… (Off topic. I just looked up Eliot Rosen and found he is now a board certified oncologist on the staff of Georgetown University. Glad to see he stuck with his love.)

A commercial message?

We are generally an optimistic people.  We tend to believe that the best is yet to come.  And, entrepreneurs- they are really optimistic.  After all, if they didn’t expect things to work out- and work out well- why would they spend any time attempting to build a new venture?

Sometimes we need drama

Most of you know that I find the study of leadership and creativity fascinating.  But, you may not all know (at least those of you who are newly introduced to this blog) that I not only find inspiration from secular leaders, scientists, and engineers, but from the Tanach- the Tora, Nevi’im (Prophets), and K’tuvim (Writings).   (What many of you call the bible.)

Choo Choo!

I have always been in love with trains.  When I was really little (maybe that’s where I caught the bug), I would sit for hours at my grandparents’ window looking down at the Pennsylvania Railroad freight yards.  I was mesmerized by the shenanigans of the locomotives, freight cars, Railway Express trucks- the whole shebang.

This is not your parent’s Waffle House…

Ah, the Waffle House.   My son fell in love with it.  Mostly because there were a slew of things we could eat there- any time of the day.  And, we certainly hit this place at odd hours.  It was convenient to the location I took my children to view eclipses, meteor showers, and just wonderful astronomical events.
