Whom do you trust? At least thrice a year, reports come out to confuse us- one says that wine consumption is good for us, another admonishes that wine consumption is bad for us.
Forty years of research is being challenged. (Actually, it may be closer to 100 years for some of these studies.) That’s how long we have been informed that moderate alcohol consumption yielded beneficial health benefits.
By now, I’m assuming you’ve read the digests of this brand new study. Which provides a conclusion that dramatically differs from many of the previous studies that examined the situation.
So, every Shabat (Friday evening to non-co-religionists), I have a wonderful dinner. Which I share with even more wonderful friends. Different friends each week.
For years, my policy has been to get things done. Oh, sure, everyone says that. But, I mean get things finished. Which may mean I put in a 36 hour day (yes, I know how ludicrous that sounds- but it’s not a new day unless I go to bed), an 18 hour day, a 10 hour day- or a 2 hour day.
