Electro Acoustic Hydraulic Therapy (eHAT)

I was reading this information about a development in Israel and felt a twinge.

You see, I have been working on a “something” to preclude folks decaying conditions that would require the onset of dialysis. (Do you realize that chronic kidney disease [CKD]  affects some10% of the world’s population?) I say “something” because it is not clear if or how my concept can obtain FDA approval.  It’s a pretty simple chemical concoction.  If we make it a food, then the poor folks (which comprise most of the folks who will need this) won’t be able to afford it, since medical foods are not covered by most health care programs.

Kidney Transplant Criteria

I just read an article (that is now being broadcast from newspapers, radio, and TV- remember, this post was written weeks ago) that really ticked me off.  Supposedly, it is good science.  And, it may be- as long as we get (as Paul Harvey used to say) “the rest of the story”.

Taking that purple pill?  Well… maybe it’s time to reconsider.

I admit it.  I’ve never had a problem with acid reflux.  Oh, sure, once or twice a year, when I was sick, it’s been a very short affliction.  So, it’s easy for me to say stop.   But, even if it’s not easy to say stop- I’m telling you STOP RIGHT NOW!

Kidney Week 2013

It’s Kidney Week.  OK.  It’s kidney 5 days… Starting today and ending on the 10th.  A ‘week’ to make all of us more aware of one of our biggest killers- certainly one of our most expensive diseases- that is, often, undetected.  Why is that so?  Because most subjects (they are not yet patients) exhibit no symptoms, until a crisis has developed.
