The Russians aren’t coming. They’re already here!

It’s time for some hard choices, folks.

You know that the Russians have interfered with our 2016 elections.   And, by 2018, they were joined by the Chinese and the Iranians.  And, those folks have been manipulating Americans ever since.  By sending out information that is false- without most of us (actually, that would be most of you, to be totally honest) verifying that the BS we so thoughtlessly spread about is anything but valid.

We have met the enemy…

We all seem to be worried (OK, that is everyone but TheDonald) that the Russians and the North Koreans have the ability to screw up our elections. To be honest, we should be terrified that they can (and do) create havoc in our civic discourse, by spreading false facts that incite and inflame.

Charity- begins at home?

Yesterday, I spoke about the need for us to donate to charity.  Many of us do that because we want to help those less advantaged than ourselves, others do so to save money on their taxes.   Today, I’ll talk about the what Mark Zuckerberg (and his wife, Dr. Priscilla Chan) recently announced- after I introduce the Gates/Buffett pledge program.

Eat up- quickly!

I’ll bet you won’t be surprised when I say I send articles to my friends and family.  But, you may be surprised to know I send them several times a day. Of course, I am positive it’s information they ABSOLUTELY have to know and have.  Well, I did that again last week.   But, this time I only sent it to my son, because I knew it could be very important to him.

Facebook tweaks

I know everyone has been talking about the changes on Facebook, but, somehow, I was not subjected to the new Timeline until late in August.  And, that’s when I began determining what I needed to do to create some order out of this chaos.  It seems to me that this “Timeline” that FB has imposed upon us is as creative and useful as many of those “timelines” I was required to make in second grade.
