Is XL the excellent choice?

I’ve stayed out of the fray for a while now.  (Don’t cluck-cluck me; I really have!)  Because I wanted to see what each side would really use for their arguments; you see, there is nothing that is intrinsically safe, unsafe, right, or wrong with either side’s position.   No, it’s the execution that will make the difference.  About what am I talking?  Harvesting tar sands for oil refining and piping them thousands of miles.

Freedom. A movie about Energy.

Last night (it is now 4:59 AM on the 27th of October), I had the opportunity to see a screening of a new movie- Freedom.  This semi-documentary was directed and produced by Rebecca and Josh Tickell.  And, no, it’s not about the Bill of Rights, but about the use and production of ethanol fuels in the United States.

The end of an era? What it really means!

The end of an era.  The news claims it started 30 years ago.  The era of shuttle flights. But, really, the first shuttle’s genesis started when I entered college in 1968, or when President Nixon signed the bill approving its development and construction in 1971.  And, the water system development happened in mid-70s.  But, this discussion really isn’t about the space shuttle.
