When I wrote this post , I was hooked on the fact that Michigan- for some ridiculous reason- had managed to find its way to the NCAA Basketball Tournament. You know, March Madness. I got hooked on this because of my son. Who gave four years of his life as the basketball manager for this team- and was there when they lost the last game of the season- the NCAA Championship Game a few years ago.(Just so you know, Michigan succumbed in game 2 to Notre Dame.)

Heroism

It’s 2 o’clock in the morning. You are on a deserted stretch of highway, one where you can safely drive 80 or 90 mph. (Because it’s so deserted, there is no police presence.) And, you want to get home. Because you have to be back at work at 9 AM tomorrow.
