It’s time to get up…

Seniors at home?
It was about 20 years ago this time of year that I started a new venture with a client. Back then, computers were ubiquitous in business- but the internet was not. And, our company employed technology- automated telephone dialers and push button phones (wow- that was tech back then) to keep tabs on retired parents for their children living in the New York and DC areas. (The goal was to eventually go national, after the shakedown phase. But, Ellie decided that the siren call of Oregon – and her soon to be husband- overshadowed her desire to be an entrepreneurial success.)
It kicked me off- again!
They knew this was coming! But, the first day it is available to the public, tons of problems present themselves to users. Now, it’s entirely possible that applications will NOT be processed in time. What is going on?
