Oh, I heard you.  You read on the internet that you can start a business with a few bucks, spend a few hours a day, and become a success in a month or two. Oh, yes, you are one of those who believe everything that’s written on the internet.  (Yup, Obama is a Muslim, spent $ 200 million a day on his trip to India, Elvis is alive and living in Las Vegas, and California can balance its budget just by changing governors…  Anything else I forgot?)
There are three or four ways this is going to turn out.  You will dream up a plan, and another one, and then a better one- ad infinitum.  Or, you will dream up a plan, get a customer or two, and then run out of money- borrow some more, and then owe more money.  You will dream up a plan, execute it, and fail after five years..  Or, you will dream up a plan, execute it, and succeed for a long time (this last part happens about 10% of the time.)

Here’s the scoop, folks.  You will work for yourself- and work harder than you thought you would, you will need to invest in YOURSELF, and it will take time.  Yes, when you make it, someone else will believe you did it overnight- but you will know better.

And, I have NO secrets to sell.  Don’t get me wrong, I would love to sell you my secrets. But, you see, they are widely known.  You need to dream up a plan, make the plan concrete with timelines and goalposts, and execute.  With a little luck (not the Irish gnome type, but luck like the economy doesn’t tank or your suppliers fail), you will succeed.

And, when you do- it will be great.  Not just for you, but your family.  You will get to do the things you want to do- and, to a greater degree than if you are employed, when you want to do them.  And, if you want, we will be there to help you.  We want to make the world better, one client at a time.
